About Us
Some people are drawn to admire and collect quilts. Others enjoy the design and construction of the quilt itself. Friendships are easily formed because of a common love of quilts. Grab a friend and visit the East Iowa Heirloom Quilters Guild at our next meeting to join in on the fun. East Iowa Heirloom Quilters (EIHQ) is an energetic group of over 250 members from the communities of Cedar Rapids/Marion and surrounding areas in northeastern Iowa.
EIHQ offers a wide range of programs, workshops, and activities to meet the needs and interests of quilters who favor not only traditional quilting, but those interested in art and contemporary quilts as well.
Guild meetings are the fourth Monday of each month at 9 am and 6:30 pm (except October and December) at the American Legion Hall, 625 31st Street, Marion, Iowa.
