Share Our Skills (SOS) volunteers make about 700 quilts each year which are given to charity. Members are encouraged to donate time, fabric, batting, completed tops and quilts. SOS kits made up of donated coordinating fabric which may be picked up at the meetings and returned when completed.
SOS Sew Day meets the third Wednesday of every month from 9:30 to 4:00 at Guaranty Bank located on Hwy. 151 and 80th Street on the north side of Fairfax. For more information, call Judy Heilers at 319/396-7216.
